My goodness, my scanner loves me tonight. It is a sweet sweet love of saturated colors and clean lines.

I had a few prints of Briar Rose after the book fair (most of them are reserved, haha) and last night I wondered what it would look like if I tried coloring one. I filled in the long leaf with some green and thought it came nicely to life.

Those first few minutes I felt as happy as a kid with a new coloring book. Many hours later, I'm starting to wonder what I've gotten myself into.

Watercolor pencils (Faber Castell, both the regular kind and the Goldfaber kind) on glossy (T_T!) paper.
