Artist's Comments
First in the Flora series. (Well, I hope it'll turn out to be a series. I have concepts, just haven't started inking yet. Mostly because I can't decide whether to use my Moleskine or a larger piece of paper.)
First begun in a Humanities II class. Inspired mainly by the trees fronting Palma Hall in the University of the Philippines, Diliman campus. I also wanted to play with curves and details, so...
Ink (Staedtler 0.3, same as that used in Queen) on Moleskine sketch paper. Like Queen, I turned it into a print (I sold some during the latest book fair) and am currently coloring one of the prints, for fun.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
